Well it’s the government paying $1.6 billion for a failed finance company. It’s not returning $600 million back to citizen. It’s an “insurance” payout losing at least $600 million from tax payers’ coffer.

And only under 40% of the $1.6 billion are from Canterbury, estimated at $500~$600 million. Rest of the payout would likely end up in overseas.

Returning $600M back to citizen is a GREAT thing!

Each individual citizen is better suited to spend THEIR money than government.

托人带了一个gphone回来，用的很不错，支持google的概念，支持sharing；坚决抵制i concept。不过，话说回来，其实gphone和iphone是差不多的，但是，gphone在使用上更人性化，起码有一个back button可以用。
六月初用到现在，感觉很满意。

blackberry,如果不是因为商务的原因的话，应该是不在考虑之内，屏幕小，按键小。。。

投 nexus one一票

You kidding? There is a huge gap in terms of player base and experience. The captain plays the 3rd tire professionals. There are a handful of retired and amateur players including a bank manager, a coach, and the goal keeper is a back up. The entire team was paid less than a single player of the opponent. Yet the Italian only managed a draw with a sick dive.

Imagine Japanese plays rugby and draw with All Black. I’d respect the Japanese just like I respect the All White.
